Petersen, Ph.D.<\/strong><br><em>Founder and Director<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barry Petersen is the Founder and Director of the <em>Coherence Geometry Institute<\/em>, where he leads the development of Coherence Geometry, a formal framework for the study of structure, stability, and organization in complex systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by postdoctoral research as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His professional work has spanned physical sciences, computational modeling, and applied artificial intelligence. He previously developed&nbsp;<em>Ground Loop Design<\/em>, an engineering tool for geothermal system analysis that is in use internationally, and is currently involved in applied energy monitoring and analysis through&nbsp;<em>Geofease LLC.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coherence Geometry represents a long-running research program developed through direct mathematical construction over many years, alongside applied technical work. The framework does not proceed from application-driven modeling or predefined equations, but from the systematic construction of structural principles intended to support long-term theoretical and applied investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Robert K. Johnson<\/strong><br><em>Senior Fellow, <\/em>Science Perspectives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rob provides perspectives on how coherence geometry frameworks interface with existing scientific understanding, particularly unresolved questions in the foundations of physics and mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He earned a BS in physics from Harvey Mudd College and an MS in physics from the University of Illinois. A retiree of the University of California, he worked for decades as a staff scientist and program manager at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory assisting the development of new programs and projects over a wide range of scientific disciplines. For example, he helped launch and was the first associate director of Cal Berkeley&#8217;s Center for Particle Astrophysics (one of the first NSF Science and Technology Centers) that discovered dark energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Alan E.
